Jarvis shows its work, and you act on it

While it talks, Jarvis puts what it found on screen: figures, charts, tables, maps, video, your day. Many cards take an answer too: tap a choice, tick a checklist, fill in a form.

Ask Jarvis a question out loud and the answer is not only spoken. It puts what it found on screen beside the conversation, as cards it chooses for the shape of the answer, and keeps them up to date as the work goes on: the same card is updated in place, never stacked again.

Cards that take an answer

  • Choice: a question with two to four answers. Tap one and it goes to Jarvis as your reply. A proposal Jarvis makes arrives this way, with Accept, Make it a mission and Decline one tap away.
  • Checklist: what is owed, with a count. Tick an item and, when it came from your commitments, the commitment is marked done too.
  • Mission: the plan, the budget used and the status of a mission working in the background, refreshed while it runs. When it needs you, answer its question right on the card.
  • Form: when Jarvis needs several answers at once, it asks for them together; what you send comes back to it as your reply.
  • Note: a note of your own on the desk, in the color you pick. Jarvis can read it, and Ask Jarvis sends it over.
  • Project: a board at a glance, what is in progress, next and blocked, with Start and Done on each card, kept current as people and agents work.

Time on the desk

A timer that counts down or up, keeps time across a reload and chimes at zero, and your month as a calendar: your events, the commitments due and the project work due, with the list for any day you pick.

Numbers at a glance

Figures with a trend, a gauge, progress toward a goal and a status list, for the questions you ask every day: how did the routines do, what is running, how much of the budget is gone.

For anything with more to it, Jarvis draws a chart (bars, a line, stacked bars or a donut, with up to four series and a legend) or a table of up to twelve columns and fifty rows that scrolls within the card. The figures in these two pictures are real: the platform's own routine runs this week, and Jarvis's own missions.

Things to open, play and compare

  • Audio and video: a trailer from your storyboard or a narration, playable on the card.
  • Files: what it made or found, each with Open and Download.
  • Before and after: a change side by side, such as a product title and price, so you see exactly what it would change.
  • Agenda: your day as a timeline, with what is on now and what needs you.
  • Maps, images and notes: places and routes on a map, a picture, and formatted text.

Your screen, your layout

Up to eight cards sit beside the conversation at once. On a large screen, move any card onto the desk and place and size it where you want it; on a phone they stack under the conversation. Cards belong to the session they were made in, so reopening a session shows exactly what it showed, ticks and choices included.

And when you want the thing itself rather than a summary of it, the page itself goes on the desk: the article, the chapter, a knowledge graph you can turn, with buttons that drive it. That has a page of its own: the whole platform, on Jarvis's desk.

The cards come with every plan that includes Jarvis; the mission card shows missions, which come with Pro and up.
